ROMELU Lukaku has shared a video to Instagram of somebody tucking in to a dish the Belgian striker mocks as ‘absolutely disgusting.’
The 28-year-old keeps the culprit unnamed but it seems likely that it’s one of his Chelsea teammates.
Lukaku doesn’t go into detail about what’s in the bowl of gruel although it’s safe to say there’s all manner of ingredients chucked in there.
And a revolted Lukaku posted the meal to his Instagram story, recoiling: “I’m not going to film who it is but this is absolutely disgusting.
“Oh my god, wow!”
Lukaku himself has better taste after being seen enjoying dinner at Salt Bae’s swanky London restaurant at the start of the month.
The Blues frontman remains out of action after injuring his ankle in the Champions League clash against Malmo two weeks ago.
Thomas Tuchel initially feared he would be out for a month but reports suggest he could return straight after November’s international break.
After a fast start to life following his £97.5million return to Chelsea Lukaku has struggled in recent weeks.
The Belgian striker netted three goals in his first three Premier League games back at the Bridge.
And a goal in the Champions League game against Zenit made it four goals in his first five games in all competitions.
But since then he is goalless in four Prem appearances and two Champions League outings.
However Tuchel will be hoping a short spell on the sidelines will help Lukaku to recharge and hit the ground running after the international break.
And the German boss is going to need him.
The Blues are competing on multiple fronts this season as they try to defend their Champions League title and currently top the Prem table.
And with a hectic festive period on the horizon the South-West Londoners will need all the help they can get.
Lukaku will miss Saturday’s game against Burnley but is likely to be back in time to play in the trip to Leicester on November 20.
