IT’S one of the most popular discount stores in the country.
But people who work at Home Bargains deal with the same kind of customers all the time, and one has taken to TikTok to complain about it.
Con shared a video revealing “what it’s like working at Home Bargains”, captioning it: “I could do so many more, it’s eventful can’t lie.”
First up, older women are always telling him to “get another till on”, while young women whose cards don’t work say, “Must be your machines, not my card.”
It’s the older male customers who always make the same joke about their age, laughing: “Do you need to see my ID too?”
While Con is also faced with pleas from customers to reduce items even though they’re already reduced to just 40p.
Teenage girls always ask him why he’s IDing both of them when only one of them is buying the alcohol.
And Con also finds younger male customers comparing his appearance to Katie Price’s son Harvey.
However, he doesn’t seem too worried about the latter, as he’s written on his TikTok profile “also known as Harvey Price”.
Viewers took to the comments section to weigh in on Con’s revelations, with one writing: “HONESTLY.”
Home Bargains stocks plenty of everyday household products at already low prices.
But it also slashes costs with special “star buys” and limited time sales at certain times.
The giant store stocks everything to fill up the pantry too – with a loaf of bread 30% cheaper there than at a major supermarket, the Daily Record found.
It’s also a good idea to check out the home electrical section, the perfume department and the gardening section to pick up some bargains.
