The O2 launches brand new attraction; Tikky Town

The O2, the world’s number one music, entertainment and leisure venue, has today opened up more of the destination including; attractions, the Entertainment District and restaurants and bars, following the latest lifting of government restrictions.

Alongside shopping at Icon Outlet and climbing the famous roof at Up at The O2 both of which reopened in April visitors to The O2 will once again be able to enjoy indoor dining at over 30 bars and restaurants, trampolining at Oxygen Freejumping, ten-pin bowling with Hollywood Bowl, the latest films at Cineworld (London’s largest multiplex cinema with 19 screens), and a brand new photo experience from the team behind The Selfie Factory – Tikky Town. With so much to choose from, a visit to The O2 is the ultimate day out for a friendly catch up, family day trip or half term treat.

Opening from Saturday 29 May, Tikky Town is the UK’s FIRST Tik Tok™ inspired funhouse where you can capture incredible videos of you and your friends. A new interactive experience which is exclusively available at The O2, Tikky Town features over 20 unique, colourful environments as the perfect backdrops for your content – including a pink Lamborghini, prison room, balloon fan room and more. Tickets are available to prebook now and are £17.99 per person for a 60 minute session. For more information, click here. For those looking to capture even more fun content, head on over to Selfie Factory which is located just opposite Tikky Town.

Looking to treat yourself on your visit? Icon Outlet has over 60 superstar fashion and lifestyle brands with up to 70% off RRP all year round. Brands include adidas, Levis, Next, Nike, The Cosmetics Company Store, Tommy Hilfiger and more. With opening hours extending from this week, and the opportunity for shoppers to claim 4 hours free parking when spending over £35 in Icon Outlet, there’s no excuse not to treat yourself or your loved one to something special on your visit.

For those after a more adventurous day out, why not try a roofwalk 52m above ground level over the world famous venue with Up at The O2? Led by expert guides with extensive training and local knowledge, a range of climbs are currently available to book online including; daytime, twilight, sunset and celebration climbs with a glass of Champagne Lanson on the roof. And what’s more, every Thursday from May 20 until 17 June inclusive, those who book a 7:00pm, 7:30pm or 8:00pm climb will enjoy a live acoustic performance at the summit with some moreish mocktails and Rowntree’s® Randoms®, as part of the ‘Thursday Lates’ event series. Tickets for all climb types are available to book here, with prices from £32 per person.

Feeling peckish? The O2 is home to over 30 bars and restaurants, so there’s plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters on your day out. For a bargain lunch bite, head to Kitchen Pizzeria for a pizza and soft drink for £10, or Scarlet Rasoi for a wrap and soft drink for £10. Stop off at Busaba Eathai to try out their latest menu additions, including their famous prawn rice, or for those in need of their PERi-PERi fix, head to Nando’s to check out their new range of summer salads. For those after an afternoon tipple, Gaucho are offering complimentary ‘buy one get one free’ cocktails from Monday to Thursday until 8pm. Reuniting with friends? Look no further than bottomless brunch at The O2 – with new menus from Las Iguanas and Slug & Lettuce, it’s the perfect way to catch up with friends over some fizz.

Visitors to The O2 can also check out the UK’s leading trampoline park, Oxygen Freejumping, which features two floors of unlimited fun for all ages, including a dodgeball court, Ninja Warrior obstacle course, and more. Brand new this month, Oxygen Freejumping has announced new Peaceful Play sessions every Wednesday 3pm – 5pm and Sunday 5pm – 6pm, which are sessions designed specifically for children with Autism and Special Needs. Visitors can now also purchase a family ticket, which enables 4 participants for just £45.
