How to tell if your old toys are worth a fortune
- Any Polly Pocket created post 1998 will have been made by Mattel – these are some of the toys that are now being sold for crazy amounts on eBay.co.uk.
- Check the condition of any toys, especially those made by Mattel that feature hinges that allow the miniature dolls to move. If they’re in good working order they will be worth more.
- For an idea on pricing, have a look at similar listings to see how much they’ve sold for.
- Any items with original packaging will be worth considerable more than those out the packet, however you still may be able to get a fair amount if the unpackaged toy is particularly rare.
