As an essential retailer Boots stores will be open on New Year’s Day, however many stores will be operating reduced opening hours.
Under new government guidelines more areas across the UK have been moved into Tier 4 restrictions, forcing all non-essential retailers to close.
However Boots has confirmed: “Our stores are essential services and will remain open during lockdown. We are taking extra precautions to keep you and our colleagues safe and provide the expert care we’re known for.”
While some services from Boots Pharmacies, Opticians and Hearing Care now require safe appointments with extra precautions in place, they are still operating as normal.
While official guidance is to stay home, if you are heading out for items it is important to check store details ahead of time using the store locator tool online.
Luckily, Boots shoppers can order essentials online at Boots.com as well as shop the retailer’s huge end of year sale. There’s now up to 50% off gifting, beauty, make up and personal electrical items in the January sales.
Highlights include discounts on premium beauty brands like Huda Beauty, Clarins and Fenty Beauty.
The retailer is also still offering Click & Collect services from stores, including those in Tier 4.
